The Tunisian President called the US Secretary of State: Preparations are under way to get out of the exceptional situation

Carthage (UNA) - Tunisian President Kais Saied confirmed, in a phone call he received on Saturday evening from the Secretary of State of the United States of America Anthony Blinken, that preparations are being made for the next stages, in order to get out of the exceptional situation into a normal situation. Qais Saeed explained, during the conversation, the reasons that prompted him to resort to Article 80 of the constitution, indicating that the constitution was not suspended, but rather the membership of parliament members was only frozen. The Tunisian president stressed the need for Tunisia's partners to understand that the economic and social conditions are the primary problem, which has been further complicated by fabricating crises, corruption, and plundering the capabilities of the Tunisian people who claim to be victims, while they are responsible for these conditions, to which the country and institutions have deteriorated. The conversation dealt with a number of axes, the most important of which was the Tunisian-American relations and ways to develop them in light of the conditions the world is witnessing and Tunisia is going through. For his part, the US Secretary of State expressed his country's desire for these reforms to find their way to embodiment as soon as possible, highlighting the continued support of the United States of America for Tunisia, and its support for the support that it can find from a number of countries and international organizations when setting the dates for reforms.
