Uzbek and Russian experts discuss development and security challenges at an international conference in Tashkent

Tashkent (UNA) – The Uzbek capital Tashkent hosted the conference Russia and Uzbekistan: Challenges to Development and Security in a New Historical Phase of Interaction, co-organized by the Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies of Uzbekistan and the Valdai Discussion Club of Russia. The forum is a continuation of the dialogue between Uzbek and Russian experts that began in 2019 in Samarkand within the framework of the XNUMXth Asian Conference on Central Asia and Eurasia: Multilateral Cooperation to Address the Challenges of Global Turmoil. The Tashkent conference was attended by leading international experts in political science, economics and security from the Valdai Discussion Club, as well as journalists from major Russian media outlets.
