Rabat (UNA) – The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) invites researchers, specialists and postgraduate students to participate with research papers on one of the five themes to be discussed at the first international conference: “Linguistic Skills in Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers: Reality Challenges and Development Prospects”, which ICESCO will organize in partnership with the Faculty of Theology at Bursa Uludag University, Turkey, on 3 and 4 February 2025, in Bursa, Republic of Turkey.
The topics that any participating research must address include:
- Problems of teaching language skills - Analysis of language skills in Arabic teaching books for non-native speakers - Successful teaching strategies in learning and teaching language skills - Evaluation of language skills - Modern techniques in teaching language skills.
Those wishing to participate in the conference should send their research summaries to the following email address: arapcasempozyumu@uludag.edu.tr , no later than November 15, 2024, and accepted research papers will be announced on the 20th of the same month. January 2025, 10 will be the last date for receiving complete research papers, and accepted ones will be announced on the XNUMXth of the same month. Participation requires several conditions to be met in the submitted research, which are:
- The research must not have been previously presented or participated in a conference, scientific symposium, or published in a scientific journal.
- Observing the scientific method and its standards in writing the research, and being distinguished by originality and seriousness in the analysis
- The research is free of grammatical, rhetorical, spelling, and typographical errors.
- Prefers research that is based on real problems and provides applied solutions to them.
- Research is accepted in Arabic or Turkish.
- The researcher is committed to the publication conditions approved by the conference scientific committee, after being notified of the acceptance of the abstract, and is also committed to making the necessary amendments after sending the research.
- The Scientific Committee has the right to reject the abstract or research without giving reasons.
A scientific jury will evaluate the submitted research and select the winner to participate in the international conference in February 2025. The winning research will be published in a book with an international number under the supervision of ISESCO.
