Makkah (UNA) – The Women's Affairs Agency at the Grand Mosque launched the "Zad" scientific initiative to enrich the experience of female pilgrims during the 1446 AH Hajj season, in accordance with the Presidency's operational plan.
The Zaad initiative includes an explanation of the Book of Hajj from Sahih Muslim (may God have mercy on him) through a series of systematic, well-founded scientific lessons aimed at spreading the moderate Islamic approach, based on a correct understanding of the Book of God and the Sunnah of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him).
Dr. Aisha Al-Aqla, Undersecretary for Women's Affairs at the Presidency of Religious Affairs, explained that the scientific initiative aims to provide women wishing to perform Hajj with scientific, guidance, and educational information, connecting them with authentic sources of specialized religious books and texts related to Hajj rituals, based on a solid scientific approach that promotes a moderate religious understanding of the Hajj rituals.
The Women's Affairs Agency at the Grand Mosque has begun implementing its plan for the 1446 AH Hajj season, which includes a package of specialized religious programs and initiatives for women. This plan aims to deepen the impact of the Hajj ritual on the conscience and behavior of pilgrims to the House of God, enrich them with everything that will ensure the success of their faith journey, fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam, and adhere to the rules and etiquette of the Two Holy Mosques.
