Madinah (UNA) – The Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has glorified the message of the Holy Quran and its guidance to the world during the Hajj season of 1446 by launching the largest and most comprehensive global Quranic enrichment project of its kind in the Prophet’s Mosque. The project will serve as a beacon of scientific and faith-based radiance, combining guidance, recitation, contemplation, education, mastery, and intonation.
During his meeting with His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Qassim, Imam and Preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque and Supervisor of the Holy Quran and Scientific Texts Circles at the Prophet’s Mosque today in his office at the Prophet’s Mosque, the President of the Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, explained that the global Quranic enrichment program at the Prophet’s Mosque aims to strengthen the connection of visitors, guests of the Most Gracious, and the Ummah with the Book of their Lord, and to instill its moderate guidance in all of humanity, according to a scientific methodology rooted in the belief in the Almighty’s saying: “Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.” (Al-Isra’: 9)
The President of Religious Affairs commended the great efforts made by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Qassim at the Prophet's Mosque to promote Quranic circles and scholarly texts. This has had a significant impact on the methodology of teaching, reciting, and interpreting the Holy Quran, and has fostered a spirit of honorable competition in memorizing the Holy Quran and scholarly texts.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais highly appreciated the dedication and sincerity shown by Sheikh Abdul Mohsen Al-Qasim in directly supervising the Quran memorization and academic texts classes at the Prophet's Mosque. He also expressed his appreciation for the results of his continuous follow-up of the Quranic and academic texts classes and students, as well as his sincere efforts and distinguished performance, which have had a significant impact on raising the Quranic and academic texts classes to the desired and satisfactory level.
His Excellency said: “The Presidency is in the process of establishing an integrated global digital enrichment platform for teaching the Holy Quran. It combines authenticity and modernity, a meticulous methodology and artificial intelligence technology. It provides comprehensive content for recitation, intonation and memorization, under the supervision of a select group of qualified, specialized teachers. This is in accordance with a robust, advanced, and controlled administrative system for monitoring performance in Quranic and scholarly circles, with accurate analytical reports and a stimulating educational environment. Furthermore, it provides flexibility in joining circles, supported by an integrated system for documented and accredited Quranic and scholarly certificates and licenses.”
For his part, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Qassim expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by His Excellency the President of Religious Affairs to convey the moderate message of the Two Holy Mosques to the world, in addition to his valuable efforts to promote the message of the Quran and disseminate its guidance to the world through Quranic circles.
The Agency for the Prophet's Mosque will soon oversee the launch of the largest global moderate Quranic project, based on a well-established institutional system that aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its leading religious position globally.
