The Saudi Foreign Minister meets the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan and they sign a mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic and private passports.

Tashkent (UNA/SPA) - His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyar Saidov, on the sidelines of the second ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the countries of Central Asia, held in the capital, Tashkent. .

At the beginning of the meeting, the two ministers signed the mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic and special passports between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

After that, the two sides held an official discussion session, during which they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance joint cooperation in many fields, in addition to discussing intensifying bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Yousef bin Saleh Al-Kahra, and the Minister’s Advisor, Muhammad Al-Yahya.
