Riyadh (UNA/SPA) – The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition participated in the “Media Oasis,” organized and supervised by the Ministry of Media in Riyadh. The event was held on the sidelines of the Saudi-US Investment Forum in Riyadh, coinciding with US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Kingdom.
Through its pavilion at the event, the coalition showcased its most prominent work, programs, and strategic initiatives in the areas of counterterrorism, including intellectual and media axes, countering the financing of terrorism, and the military sphere. The coalition was keen to introduce its message and objectives to visitors and participating delegations from various local and international media, intellectual, and cultural institutions.
The participation included a presentation of the strategic initiatives and training programs implemented by the Alliance in member states, which aim to enhance capabilities and enhance joint cooperation in various fields of combating terrorism and extremism.
The latest intellectual and media publications being developed by the coalition were also reviewed as part of its efforts to combat extremist ideology and spread a culture of moderation.
This participation comes within the framework of the Islamic Coalition's commitment to strengthening international partnerships in the media field, as one of the main avenues for combating terrorism. This is achieved through cooperation with supporting countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, as well as relevant international organizations, contributing to the unification and coordination of international efforts to combat terrorism efficiently and effectively.
