From curiosity to representing the nation... Marwan Khayat: The media is a key partner in showcasing talent

Riyadh (UNA/SPA) – Marwan Khayyat, a mathematics trainer at the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity and a student at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, affirmed that the media is a key partner in highlighting talented individuals and shedding light on inspiring success stories, thereby strengthening the integration between the media and national talents to serve development.
This came during a session entitled “Talented Saudis and the Media: An Untold Story,” which was held in the Inspiration Hall as part of the Saudi Media Forum 2026.
Khayyat explained that his journey with mathematics began out of curiosity and to learn the basics, before he discovered the depth of this science and the breadth of its horizons, which led him to delve deeper into it out of passion and love of knowledge, indicating that reaching advanced levels made him enjoy mental challenges and the search for solutions.
He pointed out that representing the Kingdom in scientific competitions is a great responsibility that he cherishes, and through which he is keen to present an honorable image that reflects the capabilities of Saudi youth in scientific fields, stressing that media support for talents enhances their presence and gives them space to influence and inspire.
Khayyat stressed the importance of establishing a culture of not being afraid of failure, as it is a natural stage on the path to success and an opportunity to gain experience and build character, noting that dealing positively with challenges turns them into a motivation to continue and excel.
