Ankara (UNA/Anadolu) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country will continue its diplomatic efforts to ensure peace and security in Sudan.
This came in a statement to journalists, during his return from the Republic of Azerbaijan, on Saturday evening.
Erdogan added in this regard: “We will continue our diplomatic efforts to ensure peace and security in Sudan, and we cannot simply stand by and watch what is happening there.”
Since April 2023, Sudan has been witnessing a bloody war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, which has resulted in the killing of tens of thousands and the displacement of about 13 million people.
