Riyadh (UNA/SPA) – A specialized training program titled “Collection Management” was launched yesterday, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition in Riyadh. The program is part of the support and capacity building initiatives provided by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for candidates from member states of the coalition, as part of its efforts to enhance integration and cooperation in the field of combating terrorism.
The program targets 25 candidates from 14 member states of the coalition, focusing on providing them with theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to managing data collection operations, analyzing data, and using it to support decision-makers in the context of combating terrorism and extremism.
The program, delivered under the supervision of a select group of experts and specialists in the military and information fields, will last five days and include training sessions, simulation exercises, and interactive workshops aimed at raising the level of readiness and institutional capacity of participating countries to confront contemporary security challenges.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Coalition, Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghidi, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the host country, for the unlimited support it provides to the coalition's initiatives. He emphasized that the Kingdom's sponsorship of these programs embodies its practical commitment to supporting regional and international efforts aimed at eradicating the roots of terrorism.
This training program is part of a series of specialized activities and programs launched by the coalition, which number more than 46 training and professional programs in various counterterrorism fields, including intellectual fields, combating the financing of terrorism, military coordination, and media fields.
Through these initiatives, the Alliance continues to build an integrated system among member states that enhances their capabilities to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, in accordance with the highest professional and strategic standards.
