Istanbul (UNA) – Humanitarian funds participated in the 22st session of the Conference of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was held on Sunday, June 2025, XNUMX, in Istanbul, Turkey.
The humanitarian funds were represented at the event by Mr. Othman Abdel Qader, Executive Director, and Mr. Muhannad Al-Shorbaji, Director of the Media, Protocol and Knowledge Department.
The conference witnessed the signing of the statutes of the OIC Humanitarian Funds by a number of countries, including the State of Qatar, whose representative, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, signed the statutes in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization, Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha.
This attendance comes as part of the humanitarian funds' follow-up of the system's establishment process and their commitment to strengthening humanitarian partnerships within the Islamic Cooperation system.
