Makkah (UNA) – The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed with great appreciation the announcement by His Excellency the President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump, from the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, “Riyadh,” of the complete lifting of the sanctions imposed by his country on the Syrian Arab Republic, at the request of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him.
In a statement issued by the League's General Secretariat, His Excellency the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, considered this announcement a significant turning point for the Syrian people, consolidating the stability of their country, and supporting its path toward a better future.
His Eminence described this announcement as a new victory for Saudi diplomacy, confirming the wisdom of its leadership and the weight of its position Islamically and internationally, as it has always devoted all its capabilities and efforts to achieving goodness and peace. His Eminence called on
