Nouakchott (UNA) – The President of the Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, inaugurated the Museum of the Prophet’s Biography in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and General Supervisor of the Museums of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa. The Museum of the Prophet’s Biography was inaugurated as part of the museum’s “international expansion plan.”

In a speech on this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Al-Issa expressed his happiness at the opening of the best museum for the best biography: the Museum of the Prophet's Biography, in Nouakchott, starting from its headquarters in Medina.

He explained that the museum, under the supervision of the Muslim World League, focuses on evidence of prophethood in particular and evidence of faith in general, and addresses doubts regardless of their source or motivation.

He touched upon aspects of the virtues and biography of the Guide and Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, emphasizing that these qualities are deeply rooted in the being of every believer guided by the noble prophetic guidance, following the path of Islam with the caravan of faith. He explained that the museum has an important contribution to making instilling this deep-rooted faith by enhancing scientific awareness.

He pointed out that the museum embodies - as far as legally possible - scenes from the Prophet's biography, to scientifically transport the visitor to the fragrance of its holiness and the joy of its intimacy, as if you were living in its spaciousness.
