Riyadh (UNA/SPA) - The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's categorical rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities' announcement regarding their incursion and control of the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian territories, and its categorical rejection of the ongoing Israeli violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom's rejection of any attempts to expand settlements on Palestinian lands and the importance of obligating the Israeli authorities to abide by international resolutions. It also affirmed the Kingdom's supportive stance on the Palestinian cause in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, the Arab Peace Initiative, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
