Makkah (UNA) – The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Eid al-Karim al-Issa, received in his office in Makkah the Speaker of the Pakistani Parliament, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed.
The Speaker of the Pakistani Parliament praised the League's Islamic and international efforts, foremost among them its efforts to promote Islamic unity, serve Muslim minorities around the world, and represent the Islamic world in international forums. He also noted the League's role in confronting Islamophobia.
