
Makkah (UNA) – The Muslim World League condemned the terrorist attack in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in a number of innocent civilian casualties.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat, the League affirmed its position, and that of the entire Islamic world, in rejecting and condemning violence and terrorism in all its forms and under all pretexts, and rejecting any association of it with any religion or culture. It offered its condolences to the families of the victims of this heinous crime and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
In this context, the General Secretariat of the League noted the contents of the joint statement issued at the conclusion of the visit of the Prime Minister of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and what it addressed regarding this horrific attack, and the condemnation of terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and manifestations, and the rejection of any attempt to link it to any race, religion or culture, praising the pivotal Saudi-Indian cooperation in combating terrorism and its financing, condemning cross-border terrorism, dismantling its infrastructure, and bringing its perpetrators to justice.
