Riyadh (UNA/SPA) - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received on Monday at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Dr. Badr Abdel Aati.
During the reception, the two sides reviewed the solid fraternal relations and joint cooperation between the two countries, and discussed issues of common interest.
Following this, the Saudi Foreign Minister and the Egyptian Foreign Minister chaired a meeting of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee at the ministerial level between the two countries. During the meeting, they discussed ways to intensify bilateral cooperation across various fields and ways to enhance joint coordination on issues of mutual concern to the two brotherly countries and serving their common interests. They also discussed regional and international developments and the efforts being made in this regard, most notably the situation in the Gaza Strip.
