
Riyadh (UNA/SPA) - Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi received yesterday the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, at his residence in Riyadh.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador presented His Excellency with a letter from the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, which included an invitation to participate in the third ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Central Asian countries, scheduled to be held in the State of Kuwait on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General praised the valuable and significant efforts made by the State of Kuwait in supporting the GCC's progress, stressing that its initiatives and constructive stances reflect its constant commitment to strengthening joint Gulf action and fulfilling the aspirations of the peoples of the GCC states for greater integration and solidarity.
The meeting also discussed and reviewed ways to enhance joint efforts to advance the joint Gulf action towards greater solidarity and integration within the Gulf system, in a way that reflects the visions of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. It also included an exchange of views on the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
