Cairo (UNA/SPA) - Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, today condemned the blatant terrorist attack that attempted to target the convoy of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, by an attack launched by the terrorist Al-Shabaab movement in the capital, Mogadishu.
In a statement, Aboul Gheit affirmed the Arab League's full support and solidarity with the Federal Republic of Somalia in confronting terrorism and all forms of extremism, calling for concerted international efforts to eradicate terrorism and dry up its sources of funding.
