Security Council holds consultations on Lebanon - Federation of OIC News Agencies

New York (UNA/Petra) - The UN Security Council is holding a closed consultation session on Monday regarding Lebanon, particularly UN Resolution 1701, which was adopted in 2006.

During the consultations, members will hear briefings from the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and the Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Jean-Pierre Lacroix.
