Al-Khalili pointed out the importance of the State of Palestine chairing, through the Ministry of Women's Affairs, the (44) session of the Arab Women's Committee at the Arab League, and declaring Jerusalem the capital of Arab women 2025-2026, considering these two events an important platform to enhance international lobbying and advocacy efforts, and accelerate the steps towards achieving justice and equality for women in Palestine and the Arab world, and embodying the independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty..

She stressed that the Ministry's directions regarding the event were discussed before the Council of Ministers, and were approved, including the Arab Women's Award for Literature and Poetry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, stressing that all events and activities will be implemented in partnership with government institutions, and with the civil and private sectors, with a prominent presence of the relevant unions and syndicates, each according to its specialization..

Al-Khalili also referred to the group of activities that will take place throughout the year and will be dedicated to strengthening the steadfastness of women in Jerusalem and shedding light on the violations committed against them and all Palestinian women, in addition to allocating a complete file on all the economic, political, social and legal conditions of women in Jerusalem, to be presented to the League of Arab States, in order to direct and restructure the efforts and programs of Arab countries in a way that serves the interests of Palestinian women, in conjunction with the current challenges that are plaguing the national project, including the escalation of Israeli hostilities in all Palestinian areas, and the increasing calls for the forced displacement of Palestinians, which necessitates holding all partners accountable to improve aspects of redress for Palestinian women, and ensuring their full enjoyment of their right to self-determination and other human rights, similar to women of the world..
