Egypt (UNA) - The Arab Republic of Egypt expressed its strong condemnation of the statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister to an American media channel yesterday, describing them as misleading and unacceptable allegations that contradict the tireless efforts exerted by Egypt since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that Egypt has provided urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, as the number of trucks that have entered Gaza since the ceasefire has exceeded 5000 trucks, in addition to facilitating the passage of the wounded, injured and dual nationals.
Egypt stressed that these statements aim to cover up the serious Israeli violations against Palestinian civilians, which included the destruction of vital facilities such as hospitals, educational institutions, electricity stations and drinking water, in addition to the use of siege and starvation as a weapon against the civilian population.
Egypt also affirmed its absolute rejection of any statements seeking to displace the Palestinian people to Egypt, Jordan or Saudi Arabia, stressing its full solidarity with the people of Gaza who continue to cling to their land despite all the horrors they are exposed to in defense of their just and legitimate cause.
Egypt renewed its commitment to the established national and Arab constants, which affirm the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on the borders of June 1967, XNUMX, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
