Bissau (UNA) – The Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Mr. Rui Duarte Barros, received in his office at the Government Palace, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, who is visiting the country in response to an official invitation from His Excellency the President of the Republic.
During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were reviewed.

As part of his visit to the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Issa reviewed the Muslim World League’s program for surgeries for needy patients, in cooperation with the National Hospital in the capital, “Bissau,” which includes - in addition to performing surgeries - distributing medicines and medical supplies.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, also delivered a lecture at the University of Guinea-Bissau on the values of Islam, reviewing in this context the contents of the Makkah Document, in the presence of a number of Guinean figures, both Islamic and non-Islamic, faculty members, and a large gathering of male and female students.
