The Muslim World League highly appreciates the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s affirmation of its firm and steadfast position on the establishment of the State of Palestine with “East Jerusalem” as its capital.

Makkah (UNA) – The Muslim World League highly valued the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s affirmation of its firm and steadfast position on the inevitability of the establishment of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.

In a statement by the General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s position on the Palestinian issue represents its fixed and established values and principles.

His Eminence expressed the gratitude of all Islamic peoples to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their affirmation of this firm historical position in the midst of new developments and their various contexts, and that it is not a place for negotiation and outbidding.

His Eminence pointed out that this position stems from the values of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are rooted in its pure and strong conscience, in fulfillment of its historical responsibility from its Arab, Islamic and international center of gravity, and the “great” and “deserved” aspiration towards supporting the Palestinian cause, based on its principles whose lofty values are rooted in its historical constants.

At the end of his statement, His Eminence asked God Almighty to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince with the best reward for their constant and firm affirmation of the right of the Palestinian people to live within an independent state with full sovereignty, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and their rejection of establishing diplomatic relations with Israel without that.
