Doha (UNA/QNA) - Qatar Charity announced that it will implement, with the support of charitable people in Qatar, and through its office in Pakistan, 1805 projects during the year 2024 in various parts of the country.
The association stated in a statement today that 992,303 people have benefited from these projects in the fields of water and sanitation, relief, education, health, development, and economic empowerment, reviewing in a related context the details of these projects, including the seasonal ones, the type of aid they included, and the Pakistani regions that benefited from them.
Qatar Charity noted that in addition to the projects implemented through its office in Pakistan, it cooperated with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the World Food Programme to implement 5 projects to improve access to life-saving services in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan, benefiting 633,500 people.
She explained that these projects included improving water and sanitation services for Afghan refugees, child nutrition, and enhancing disaster preparedness.
