
ISLAMABAD (UNIA/APP) – Pakistan’s Minister for National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain has lauded the enduring partnership between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain praised the continuous Saudi humanitarian support to Pakistan. Rana Tanveer Hussain made the remarks in a speech he delivered at the launch ceremony of the pioneering humanitarian project to distribute about 84 winter, shelter and non-food items among the needy and deserving in Pakistan yesterday, Thursday, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and the Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Abdullah Al-Baqmi, at the Sports Complex in the capital, Islamabad.
The Pakistani Minister expressed his appreciation to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre for supporting Pakistan's relief efforts, and said that the launch of this pioneering humanitarian project is another wonderful chapter in the strong fraternal and historical relations between the two countries.
On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, the Pakistani Minister expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their strong and steadfast commitment to the welfare of the Pakistani people, and stressed Pakistan’s aspiration to further strengthen cooperation with the Kingdom to build a prosperous, sustainable and secure future.
