Doha (UNA/QNA) - Sheikha Hanouf bint Abdulrahman Al Thani, Director of the International Organizations Department at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the closing workshop of the national consultations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
In a welcoming speech, she pointed out that the national consultations come in implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the State of Qatar and UNICEF and aim to implement the main outcomes agreed upon during the second high-level strategic dialogue held in January 2024 in New York.
The workshop included representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education and Higher Education, Social Development and Family, Sports and Youth, in addition to the National Planning Council.
The workshop reviewed the priorities of national authorities and the most prominent areas of cooperation with UNICEF, in addition to developing a roadmap for joint programmes with UNICEF for the period (2024-2025).
