Cairo (UNA) - Dr. Afnan Al-Shuaibi, Executive Director of the Women’s Development Organization, met at the organization’s headquarters in Cairo with Dr. Ali bin Abdullah bin Musa, Secretary-General of the International Council for the Arabic Language.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of women's empowerment and the advancement of the Arabic language.
In this regard, the two parties agreed on the importance of benefiting from women’s experiences and capabilities in various fields, and harnessing them to serve the Arabic language, especially in light of the challenges they face in the current era.
The two sides also discussed the ongoing preparations for the International Conference on the Arabic Language, which represents an important platform for highlighting the role of women in preserving the Arabic language.
The two parties stressed the importance of women’s active participation in this event, and providing new visions that contribute to developing plans and strategies to protect the Arabic language and enhance its status.
