Riyadh (UNA/SPA) - The Saudi Media Forum 2024, in its third edition, discussed the role of women in the media industry and consolidating its human values.

This came in a dialogue session entitled “Female journalists shaping media narratives for peace and inclusivity” within the activities of the second day of the forum, in the presence of Nawal Al Jabr, the managing editor of the women’s section of Al Riyadh newspaper, the news broadcaster and program presenter on Al Arabiya channel, Christina Bisri, and the journalist and media strategist, Eugenia. The participants pointed to the Kingdom’s rich experience in dialogue among civilizations and supporting humanitarian aspects at the global level through the King Abdullah International Center for Interfaith and Cultural Dialogue and the Muslim World League, praising their efforts in empowering Saudi women and activating their role in all fields.

They touched on the pivotal role of women in addressing and spreading the culture of dialogue, peace and tolerance through individuals and societies to build a new civilized culture based on justice and equality, noting the role of women in covering issues and events by focusing on human stories and children’s stories due to their distinction in dialogue and narration.
