Sudanese Prime Minister goes to Juba

Khartoum (UNA) - Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk headed this morning to Juba, the capital of South Sudan, at the head of a high-level delegation that includes executive and security leaders. The Prime Minister is accompanied on this three-day visit by the Ministers of Defense, Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Transport, in order to discuss files that include the developed relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, and the peace agreement in southern Sudan, given that Sudan is a guarantor of the peace agreement between the southern Sudanese parties that signed the agreement, and to discuss Peace completion file, in addition to discussing a number of regional issues in his capacity as head of IGAD. During this visit, the Prime Minister will hold a series of meetings and gatherings, beginning with a meeting with the President of the Republic in the State of South Sudan, Lieutenant General Salva Kiir Mayardit, First Vice President Riek Machar and the Vice Presidents of the Republic. The visit schedule includes a number of bilateral ministerial meetings and other meetings within the framework of IGAD. (I finish)
